Product Overview: Friant System 2 Cubicles
Overview
Friant office furniture products are well known as being high quality and low cost, making the Friant System 2 panel system a good solution for companies looking for products that will last without exceeding the budget. Their quality constructions and design aesthetics means you won’t need to sacrifice quality for price.
Simplicity
Since the System 2 features full length steel and aluminum connectors, it can easily be installed by one person.
Built to Last
The Friant System 2’s honeycomb core construction meets or exceeds industry standards for strength and longevity.
Features
- 40 finish choices on Quickship
- Partial glazed panels
- Frameless glass available
- Powered and non-powered panels
- Laminate, fabric and acoustical panels
- Four paint finishes, three base finishes
Earth-Friendly
Friant products are UL approved and meet or exceed the California (CARB) air quality emissions standards — the most stringent in the country — for composite wood products.
Friant System 2 fabrics are made of a blend of recycled polyester fibers and are applied in a direction that maximizes yardage per roll applied to the panel which means less waste.
The typical System 2 workstation is comprised of 45% recycled content (30% pre- consumer plus 15% post-consumer). For LEED, Recycled Content is the sum of post-consumer recycled content plus half of the pre-consumer content (30%).
System 2 components are constructed from wood, steel, plastic, copper, aluminum, and fabric. At the end of its useful life, System 2 is up to 75% recyclable. Only wood is not recyclable due to its finishes and adhesives. Although, all finishes and cleaners used in the manufacturing process are water-based.
System 2 is designed for durability with a limited lifetime warranty and can be reused on many building projects. The panel construction also makes it easy to reconfigure System 2 for reuse. LEED credits may be achieved when salvaged, refurbished or used furniture is used on a project, especially if material is extracted close to the job location.
